Quality Assurance Assistant - Information Product Solutions

A Quality Assurance Assistant evaluates, tests and documents testing results for client deliverables, ensuring that these meet design specifications. To fulfill this role, the Quality Assurance Assistant will:Under limited supervision, conduct all phases of testing by creating and executing test plans and test cases Under limited supervision, verify that products are developed according to functional specifications Along with fellow team members, research moderately complex problems Assist in process improvements, training, and implementation Team with other company professionals working on assigned projects Communicate project status to project team and management Record discrepancies in ClearQuest defect tracking tool Review standard operating procedures or specifications in order to identify source of problems and revise procedures as necessary to improve quality of deliverables Verify products are developed according to functional specifications

All other duties as required BA degree in computer science, mathematics or related field is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with the following is a plus: Microsoft technologies including Access databases ClearQuest defect tracking Experience in compensation, benefits, or software industry a plus Strong analytical skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Flexibility and high productivity in a fast-paced environment with frequent project workload shifts Process-orientation with keen attention to detail and accuracy Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely while maintaining a professional and positive conduct.
