For more information on Alcon, Inc., visit the Company's web site at .General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining EU technical files for existing products working with required functional representatives; ensuring technical file documentations are in agreement with standards and other design control elements; defend technical files during Notified Body audits; provide technical support to maintain all product registrations including facilitation of data and record preparation from functional representatives; schedule coordination meetings and coach team members on materials to prepare and strategies for family groupings; maintain other jurisdiction registration files for existing products working with required functional representatives; including conversion of Essential Requirements checklist into Essential Principles; maintain risk assessment reports for existing products working with required functional representatives; schedule post market reviews for each product family and coordinate review activities.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in one of the Engineering or Sciences and four years experience, one of which must be in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry or Master's degree in one of the Engineering or Sciences with two years of applicable experience, one of which must be in the pharmaceutical or medical device industryPosition Success Factors: Planning and Executing; Problem Identification and Resolution; Communication; Teamwork; Results Ownership; CourageOur generous benefits package includes the Alcon 401(k) Plan which matches employee contributions up to 5% of eligible pay at the rate of $1.00 for each dollar contributed, and the Alcon Retirement Plan (ARP), a qualified plan in which Alcon contributes 7% of eligible pay to the accounts of all eligible employees.
