Quality Assurance Engineer, Austin, TX


The Knot, Inc. is looking for an experienced, QA engineer who has a passion for delivering a high-quality product to our end users.

Desired Experience:

· 3+ years of experience in testing web-based applications.

· 2+ years of experience in writing detailed functional test plans, test scripts, creating test data, test execution, and creating defects.

· Extensive experience in the use of defect tracking software

· Experience in database-level testing through the use of SQL data manipulation language.

· Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle in relation to software quality standards

· Experience in participating in functional /design requirement reviews

· Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks

· Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project managers and business stakeholders.

· 1+ years of Experience with Automated and Performance Testing Toolsets (TestComplete Preferred)
