Quality Assurance Regional Manager

Job Summary:
Identify and eliminate causes of shrink. Ensure compliance of established operating policies and procedures. Assist with the rollout of Corporate shrink reduction/quality improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities: Review and test facility-generated KQI and Inventory Shrink, and quality reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Share results with Regional VPs and facility GMs and Operations Managers. Using statistical analysis from KQI, Shrink, Audit, and other quality reports determine when processes are out of control. Determine root causes of deviations. With facility and regional operations management, develop and implement corrective actions that address the specific process. Document control processes and check for effectiveness. Leads weekly/bi-weekly process quality meetings with Warehouse GM’s and Operations Managers. Meetings intended to communicate points of uncontrolled processes, effectiveness of past corrective actions, and identify any new improvements both generated within the facility or developed in other facilities or regions. Ensure compliance with the Inventory Control Cycle Count Program. Document and report on deviations. Work closely with the Corporate QA Manager and claims organization to assure that strategy for auditing and claims management are aligned with facility needs. Travel required. May require nights and weekend warehouse visits

Job Requirements: College 4 years ( or 12 + years of relevant work experience) 10 years in a fast paced, high volume warehouse environment with Inventory Control and/or shrink prevention experience. Process Improvement experience a plus. PC Spreadsheets and databases, Warehouse Management Systems, Strong Analytical skills, Six Sigma Greenbelt certification. Interact well with all levels of management.
