Job Responsibilities:Reviews batch records assuring that all specifications are met; gives disposition (approval, rejections, etc.) to the material produced, and investigates discrepancies. Plans work independently. Incumbent knows and applies fundamental technical and quality concepts, applicable guidelines of the FDA or other regulatory bodies and relevant Wyeth PPGs. Other duties include writing procedures, training, generating department metrics and other special projects as needed. The candidate must work with Contract Manufacturers, Operations, QA/QC, Technology, and other external groups under limited supervision. Approximately 10 - 15% travel required. Basic Qualifications:BS degree preferably in Pharmacy, Physical Sciences, or Engineering w/4 years of experience.MS degree w/ 2 years of experience. The preferred candidate will have appropriate industrial/pharmaceutical experience and knowledge in current Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA regulations and site procedures. Strong organizational, leadership, project management, communications, technical writing skills and attention to detail are required. Candidate must also enjoy working in fast paced environment and participating in cross-functional team objectives and be able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Computer skills must include proficiency in word processing using MS Office. Knowledge in LabWare, SAP, TrackWise and other Enterprise systems is preferred.
