To sustain and enhance our leadership position in the pharmaceutical industry, we continue to recruit, develop and motivate individuals whose skills, values, and work ethic will grow and improve our business.RESPONSIBILITIES:§ Maintenance of various continuous cell culture lines.§ Utilization of cell culture, serological and fluorescent antibody techniques in the testing of biological raw materials and finished products.§ Extraneous virus testing of raw materials, seeds, and cells (9CFR and European requirements).§ Bio-safety Level 3 testing.§ Inactivation testing of killed stocks.§ Final product release testing by hemagglutination inhibition and serum neutralization assays.§ Final reading of tests by fluorescent antibody, hemagglutination, and cytopathic effects.§ Qualifying new reagents.§ Inventory and ordering of reagents.§ Writing/revising SOPs and standard methods.§ Sample and test result tracking.§ Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in biological science or AA + minimum of 3 years applicable work experience. Ability to comply with written methods, special outlines and production outlines.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity withMicrosoft Word and Excel. Strong organizational, multitasking, communication and documentation skills.
