REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Edge Financial offers sophisticated financial services to high net worth seniors and their advisors in connection with their life insurance and estate planning needs. We help life insurance clients protect their legacy while freeing up current cash flow.  Edge Financial is located in the heart of downtown Bethesda. 

 

Position

 

The Regional Account Manager is a critical role in the continued expansion of the company and will be responsible for identifying and developing new broker opportunities, meeting or exceeding production targets, and working closely with the operations team to ensure optimum service and customer retention. The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for balancing the demands of establishing new Agent and Broker relationships with expanding the volume of cases submitted by existing clients in the assigned territory.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

· Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the premium finance niche market within the overall competitive marketplace.

· Locate and develop relationships with select Agents and Brokers in an assigned territory.

· Review and have executed Premium Finance Aggregator Agreements in accordance with company standards.

· Develop and expand relationships with Agents to grow premium finance case production.

· Create and implement marketing initiatives to sustain renewal business.

· Assist in the creation of promotional and marketing materials to reinforce Edge’s value.

· Serve as a resource for special projects and client service needs.

· Ability to formulate marketing plans and drive business production through relationship building.



Qualifications

 

· College degree or equivalent business experience.

· 2-3 years experience in the life insurance industry. Experience with the senior life insurance market and experience in life insurance premium finance a plus.

· Proven sales and marketing production in the insurance or finance industry.

· Solid relationships with brokerage and agency clients in the desired territory.

· Must be able to analyze and interpret financial information quickly and efficiently.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

· Ability to travel up to 50%.

· Candidate must be aggressive, pleasantly persistent and able to multi-task.
