ROAD MAINTENANCE

ROAD MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR/ CEMETERY SEXTON Monclova Township, Lucas County, Ohio is seeking a qualified individual to fill a full time Road Maintenance Supervisor/Cemetery Sexton position. This position reports directly to the Township Administrator. Qualified applicants must have a valid and currently effective Class "A" commercial driver license with air brake endorsement. Must have knowledge of basic building structures and materials, capable of using various power hand tools and equipment. Must be proficient in use of tractor, backhoe, dump truck, snow plow, front end loader, power lawn mowers, chain saws and various equipment. Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions involving use of such equipment. Knowledge of employee management and supervisory principals and practices. This is a working supervisor position currently supervising four individuals in the Road Maintenance classification and one Road Maintenance/Mechanic classification. Will be called on at times other than normal working hours to perform snowplowing, burial duties, or emergency road repair or service.
