EOE M/F/D/V Region Marketing Research Analyst JOB SUMMARY: Provides broad-based administrative and Marketing support for Region business development efforts. Manages Region Marketing projects. Conducts vertical market analysis and segmentation analysis. Leads design and development of marketing collateral. Produces, verifies, and analyzes reports for distribution. Carries out direct mail and other programs for Region. Participates in National and large local proposal response preparation for the Region BDM’s and VP of Sales. 1. Provides broad-based administrative support for Region Marketing and Business Development efforts. 2. Monitors key markets, maintaining insight into sub-sectors, recommends key message, value-proposition development to aid in strategic growth initiatives for the Region. 3. Maintains, tracks and verifies information from Business Development Managers and Branch or Area offices within the Region for administrative purposes. 4. Administers the Region’s direct mail campaign; aids in design, prints direct mail materials, prepares mailing lists, stuffs envelopes, and mails materials to prospects. 5. Tracks and analyzes Business Development Manager and Management scorecard reports as required, including proposal tracking, bi-weekly pipeline tracking, and Goldmine activity reports. 6. Maintains and tracks Region database information including rate increases, acquisitions and solutions sales activities. 7. Provides administrative assistance in the business development cycle through verification of references, proposal preparation, preparation of presentation materials, and prospect research. 8. May provide additional administrative support to Region office personnel as required. 9. Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assignment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRYEducation/Experience: Bachelors degree, and 3+ years of marketing support work experience, preferably in a B2B sales and marketing environment for a service company, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):· Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices.· Basic knowledge of mathematical concepts including computation of rates, ratios, percentages, averages and simple reconciliation.· Understanding of marketing strategies, segmentation strategies, value proposition development· Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.· Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.· Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.· Skill in clear and concise oral and written communication.· Skilled with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)· Ability to be an effective team member and handle project assignments responsibly.· Courteous telephone manner.· Strong customer service and results orientation.
