Regional Finance Director/CFO

With more than 1200 employees and nearly 300 ambulances in Arizona, Southwest Ambulance is a premier private ambulance provider serving more than 25 communities. We received more than 275,000 calls and conducted more than 200,000 transports a year.

Southwest Ambulance is currently looking for a Regional Finance Director/CFO to join our team in Arizona.

The position summary  and responsibilities are as follows

Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of Southwest Ambulance operations for Arizona and New Mexico.

Essential Functions:

Regional Responsibility of financial analysis reporting directly to the Group President.

Directs general and property accounting, cost accounting and budgetary control.

Appraises operating results in terms of cost, budgets, operating policies, trends and increased profit opportunities

Additional Duties:

Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

Analyze cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.

Serve on planning and policy-making committees.

Management of fixed asset tracking system and properly account for asset additions, disposals and depreciation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Finance and Accounting (including financial reporting, accounts payable, and audits).

Financial Planning (including decision support, budgeting, financial projections, financial analyses, and capital budgeting).

Qualifications:

·Strong knowledge of GAAP is required

·Sarbanes-Oxley 404 experience preferred

·Business Objects experience preferred

·Ability to administer multiple requirements under deadlines

·Superior attention to detail

·Flexible in dealing with change

8-10 years Financial Analyst experience

·Strong organizational, analytical and written/verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

BS/BA or Masters in Finance or Accounting is required

CPA is preferred
