Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

 

 

Lineage Power is a leading global power and components provider and manufacturer of high quality AC-DC and DC-DC power solutions.  We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to manage sales activities in the Eastern Region of the USA.

 

Extensive knowledge of the electronics components/systems industry is required. Position is accountable for executing sales revenue targets through individual efforts, independent Manufacturers Representatives, a team of Field Application Engineers and cross-coordination with the Lineage Sales Team.

 

Responsibilities include: meeting with executives, engineering and supply chain community; collaboration with application engineers to identify new product requirements; new business development leading to design wins; provide quotes; account planning including financial reports and sales forecast; oversee post sales activities (order tracking, shipping, billing and collection) to assure customer satisfaction and liaison with factory at all levels.

 

Specifically, this Regional Sales Manager position will be accountable to:

· Increase FY09 revenue by 15% VS FY07 for accounts in the Eastern Region by growing Lineage’s current vertical and identified new markets through the sales of existing and new products.

· Develop and execute Strategic Business Plans for identified market segments.  Manage tactical action items with assigned Manufactures Representatives to drive the strategy at the identified accounts.

· Working with the Manufacturers Representative Sales channel, position Lineage Power to win new designs at accounts in the territory by developing relationships with Power, Board and System Design Engineers and key influencers at customers.

· Ensure “mind share” of the Lineage product line at the assigned Manufacturer Representatives.  Coordinate product training of Manufacturers Representative personnel with the Lineage Field Application Engineers.

· Train and monitor Man Reps to ensure an up-to-date and accurate Sales Opportunity Funnel is maintained.

· Perform Quarterly Business Reviews of assigned Manufactures Representatives to review the Opportunity Funnel; Organization Updates; Product Training and quarterly Bookings vs. Target.

· Participate in Business Unit SIOP/ISP meetings.  Provide sales forecast for assigned accounts in the Eastern region.

· Track project transfers, and maintain an understanding of EMS/OEM engagements within the scope of the assigned territory to minimize leakage. 

 

 

Requirements:

 

· Business or Technical Undergraduate degree required.

· A minimum of 5 years Sales or Marketing experience is required. Sales experience within the Power Systems, Semiconductor, or Power-related Industry is strongly preferred.

· Experienced utilizing CRM-based tools such as Oracle, Seibel, or Salesforce.com is highly desirable.

· Strong interpersonal skills; be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

· Ability to negotiate with responsible organizations, Manufacturers Representatives and customers.

· Self-directed individual who can analyze customer needs, product requirements and deliver formal presentations to all levels.

· Minimum of 65% travel.
