•Location:    US-VA-Richmond •Job Status:    Full Time, Employee•Job Category:    Customer Support/Client Care •Career Level::    Experienced (Non-Manager) Regulatory Project Manager Job Description:Corporate Compliance, is seeking an experienced, well-rounded Manager to lead large complex projects related to changes to the regulatory environment stemming from newly enacted laws/regulations and/or infrastructure changes within Capital Ones business lines. Work will require significant leadership to identify best business/regulatory solutions (process and technology) in and across the enterprise that is fast paced, time sensitive, and higher risk. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Delivery of projects on time, on budget and with high quality. Experience leading a project team through grey space towards a best compliance solution in order to achieve complete and sustainable compliance with new laws and regulations. Includes setting the work approach, leadership through scope/requirements definition and alignment of team and senior executive stakeholders. Jumpstarting and guiding regulatory solution implementation projects using a best approach and following corporate standards/best practices for Project and Program management. Leading collaborative efforts within Capital Ones Banking business to develop best solutions that balance both compliance & business needs. Communicating and influencing throughout the business and the Risk Management infrastructure within Capital One.Job Experience:Basic Qualifications: • 4 year college degree • 5 years of Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency with Microsoft Project• Excellent leadership skills. • Strong negotiation/influencing skills to create & negotiate best solutions. • Experience leading & directing a cross-functional project team. • Experience with guiding/leading teams in making major changes to operations, preferably within the banking/financial industry. • Adaptable self-learner with a high degree of initiative & and drive. • PMP certification is highly desired. • Understanding of business risk management and/or compliance in a highly regulated industry.Expected Travel Time: None
