Resume Writer
Job Summary:
The Resume writer, under direct supervision of the CONUS Operations Manager, is responsible for writing, editing, and coordination of BBA-SME resumes to prospective clients and existing customers.
Essential Functions:
Takes end-to-end ownership and command of BBA-SME resume development, to include: writing, editing, proofreading, fact checking, rewriting, etc.and other related support processes.
Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to specific contract/program position requirements
Designs, formats, and updates standard government resume format templates consistent with industry and client standards and requirements.
Interfaces and communicates with BBA-SMEs, operations team members, OCONUS team members, when required, on all BBA-SME in-process and submitted resumes.
Answers telephone or responds to email from applicants and provides information/assistance or routes caller or email to appropriate staff member.
Develops and maintains resume tracking databases of past, current, and future resumes.
Develops resume targeting questions to extract the critical information necessary in the development of resumes and other support documents.
Interacts with departmental and other staff on matters effecting applicant data, candidate processing flow and makes recommendations for improvement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval.
Assists management in resume development policy’s, procedures and guidelines.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
Minimum of three(3) years experience writing and editing resumes in the government services and public sector environments
Ability to work with candidates with divers backgrounds, nationalities and cultures.
Ability to work independently for extended hours and also function effectively as a member of a team and adhere to strict deadlines.
Must have excellent grammar, writing and collaborations skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing requirements/deadlines
Keen Attention to detail, accuracy and high level of professional integrity.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrates a flexible and positive and positive attitude in performance of duties and responsibilities.
