Route Technician

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:   To insure that all money is safely and securely collected and transported, from all machines and returned to the processing center. 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:   

Collect all machines and data at locations on the scheduled route.

 

Handle problems and complaints with regards to collection from owners, managers, maintenance men and/or residents.

 

Maintain company vehicle with the maximum vehicle inventory, keeping all stock in order following the vehicle plan-o-gram.  Must report completed call information and codes along with parts used immediately via satellite system.  Weekly, pick up parts/open calls in warehouse that have been pulled to restock your vehicle.

 

Report via satellite all machines in need of service.  Check fill hoses for bubbles and replace immediately.  Clear large dryers of all lint.  Visually inspect all venting while collecting and report all venting in need of service.  Close dryer doors as collecting and replace door catches if they do not stay closed. 

 

Report all maintenance on company vehicle and keep clean at all times.  Follow preventative maintenance program.

 

Complete company 3-D Driving Program and Safety Program and follow these procedures as outlined in the programs.

 

Attend collection meetings and training as scheduled.

 

Fill in for the installation, and/or service department if trained and needed.

 

 Must possess and hold current Driver's License and a good standing driving record.

 

Visit and develop relationships with maintenance men, managers and residents on location.

 

This position requires overnight travel approximately 1 to 4 nights per month.

 

Complete any Special Projects as needed
