S/W Writer

Job Description:CDI Government Services needs a S/W engineering writer/developer for a long term project in the Baltimore Area.. The candidate will have BS Engineering, Science or Information Systems, and/or equivalent experience Experience with military ground based radars At least 5 five years experience designing and developing Level IV Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). The candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills for interfacing with program, customer and supplier personnel Significant experience developing and writing technical publications Experience with Arbortext Epic Editor and XML. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, matrix (IPT) environment. Note: Prior experience with U.S. Marine Corp radar systems is highly desirable, as is previous experience with Interactive Authoring & Display System (IADS). Responsibilities of the position include: Designing and developing the data architecture for the Level IV IETM for the USMC G/ATOR program. Managing and verifying technical source data provided from vendors. Implementing the strategy for IETM development. Developing IETM data content per the IETM architecture and plan. Working proactively with vendors, engineers, and customer representatives to create plans to integrate and validate technical data products. Determining the architecture and strategy required to integrate the IETM with SCORM-compliant training courseware. Working with the training development team to ensure efficient sharing of knowledge.
