SAP BI Analyst - Retail

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The SAP Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and support of analytical and reporting tools to drive value for business initiative identification and fulfillment. This position's key responsibilities include working with key business stakeholders to define, validate, document, and fulfill, analytical and reporting requests as an SAP analytics super user. Additional responsibilities include recommending and driving analytical process improvements, supporting the standardization and rationalization of reports, metrics, and attributes across the company, day-to-day maintenance, support, providing user training, and responsibility for groups of reporting users. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: General: • Enjoys fast paced atmosphere • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities • Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills • Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills required • Gracefully handles stress and finds strength in appropriate change • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently • Positive attitude with an enthusiastic, can-do outlook • Open minded and not complacent; proactive; detail-oriented and organized Business: • Possess solid understanding of standard Retail flows i.e.: POS, Merchandise Management, Planning, etc., including Retail Key Performance Indicators and Statistical Analysis experience. • Women's Specialty retail experience is strongly prefered. • At least 2 years in an analysis capacity in a Retail environment is preferred • Work closely with business teams to define and document business requirements for metrics statistical approaches, and analytics / reports including driving standardization • Requirements gathering, analysis and design, writing functional specifications • Participate in process reviews and enhancements, department information based projects, and data analysis tasks • Assist in the definition of data extract requirements, validation, documentation, and implementation • Build and maintain system and training documentation • Provide process expertise to the business and project teams to minimize business user involvement and ensure communication between cross functional work streams and business departments • Exceptional organizational and time management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service approach • Experience working in planning, allocation or a merchandising environment preferred • Work with technical developers, data modelers and business analysts to ensure SAP BI functional infrastructure meets the design and delivery needs of the business projects Technical: • Bachelor's Degree in technical or analytical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. • Strong understanding of relational and multidimensional data model concepts. • Knowledge and experience in SAP NetWeaver BI Business Explorer tool suite is strongly preferred • Knowledge and experience in SAP R/3 Retail Industry Solution modules • Experience with SAP Enterprise Portal is a plus. • Experience with ASAP project methodology is a plus • Knowledge in HTML, Java and VBA • Strong experience with Microsoft Office CONTACT INFORMATION: Apply online or email your resume to: kkjobs@chicos.com #cb# xchicox NOTICE: Chico's FAS, Inc. and its affiliates (Chico's) do not accept unsolicited candidate referrals or resumes from recruitment agencies.
