SAP SD Business Systems Analyst

The SAP SD Business Systems Analyst will complete process priorities, perform troubleshooting, and develop effective solutions to business requirements utilizing analysis, process knowledge, and SAP effectively. Works closely with Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service to design, develop, test and implement appropriate configuration and processes within the Sales and Distribution (SD) module of SAP. Meets regularly with the Business and user community to understand the Order to Cash business processes and works as a liaison between Business and the SAP configuration team. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong business analysis and project management skills as well as excellent working knowledge of SAP R/3 SD module.

Position Responsibilities: Implements system and process improvements as necessary while supporting the business users. Works with user departments to analyze and document business requirements and develops functional specifications for ABAP development. Defines and executes end-to-end business process test scripts, perform user acceptance testing. Leads resolution of system issues and assists in the identification of system improvements and the development of solutions to improve business performance. Translates functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP to coordinate and assist with detailed technical design. Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving of Business as Usual requirements, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Sales or Marketing 3 or more years of SAP SD configuration experience including Order Management, Pricing, EDI, Contracts, Billing/Credit, Shipping and Transportation, Sales Territories 1 or more years of full life-cycle implementations of SAP which include requirements gathering, functional testing, and SAP configuration  Experience in cross module integration of SD with MM, WM, FI, and CO-PA Experience with EDI and IDOC processing Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system  and Microsoft Office Suite
