Job Description Job Description:Our Dallas office is currently in need of a Senior Structural Engineer to work as part of our regional design center team. The Senior Structural Engineer will be viewed as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects and to resolve problems of greater scope and complexity. They may plan and develop projects or design activities which have significant impact on major company programs, and may also plan, organize, and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians. Although the Senior Structural Engineer may serve as project manager on larger projects, project management is not the sole focus of the position.Requirements BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.MS in Civil/Structural or related discipline preferred.PE required.7+ years structural engineering experience as it relates to building design.Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical software is required. Experience in design calculations and layouts as well as the ability to design and detail in steel, concrete, masonry and wood are required.Requires understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysis. Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm is required.
