SQL DBA

Job Description:Small growing company with and encouraging work environment is seeking a Sr. Database Administratorwho will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and management of our SQL Server databases. All candidates for this position must have an excellent oral and written command of the English language, and be able to work well with others.The candidates must be thoroughly familiar with SQL Server 2005 environments. The duties will include:design and development of databases, tables, relationships, and indicesmaintenance of all databases, including security patches and DB updatescreation, use and management of stored procedurescapacity planningSQL statements and queriesinterfaces to the internet and web pages



Job Experience:Experience: As a full member of the technical team, the DBA should be conversant in MS Visual Studio.Net 2.0, C#, ASP, Visual Source Safe, ADO, cascading (CSS), and various web languages.All candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years experience working as a SQL Server DBA. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with a degree in computer sciences or experience in credit card, debit card or ACH transaction processing.
