SR PRINCIPAL HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Description:SR PRINCIPAL HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER(Southern California) Invensys Process Systems (IPS) provides products, services and solutions for automation & optimization of plant operations in the process industry. Triconex, a business unit of IPS for over 22 years has been a leader in control system solutions for a wide variety of industries & applications worldwide. Currently we supply over 50% of critical control system equipment for oil refining, petrochemicals & power industries. Projects will include: (1) Product enhancements incorporating HART & FOUNDATION Fieldbus; and (2) Integrating our products into an IPS Division product line. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 15 years hardware design experience (e.g., aerospace, communications, computers, automated test equipment, instrumentation, medical devices) in both analog & digital modules/sub-systems/systems using state of art microprocessors, FPGAs, CPLDs, ASICs, etc. on products. Experience in using computer-aided design tools (e.g., OrCAD Capture/Layout, Spice) is required. In addition, VHDL programming OR process control familiarity is a Strong Plus.
