SR Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description:The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality of the software solutions deployed into production and will engage in testing of new software releases as well as in diagnosing problems encountered in production environments. The Senior QA Analyst will be responsible for managing individual releases while in QA, including developing, agreeing and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases, and coordinating testing activities of all groups involved in the QA process. Must have strong understanding of QA processes and methodology; demonstrated ability to develop succinct and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts; experience in coordinating multiple groups of users in UAT and regression testing. Job Experience:Technically, this position requires in-depth knowledge of FIX protocol, strong proficiency in UNIX and Linux, and proficiency in SQL and Sybase. Experience with financial reports and Back Office is a big plus. Experience in and strong understanding of financial/ investment products, trading workflow and domestic and international equities are very significant for this position. Strong oral and written communication skills are required - must be able to interact directly with both technical and non-technical colleagues and clients.Minimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years
