Currently, we are seeking a Subject Matter Expert II for Knoxville, Tennessee location. Summary:As a member of the SOPI team you will be managing projects across the financial areas of the business, often involving many stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex end to end processes; and proactively seek out and lead, projects to standardize, optimize and improve business processes. You will be knowledgeable in improvement methodologies such as “LEAN” and “Six Sigma” and will be skilled at innovating and delivering added value solutions to the business. Responsibilities: Manage improvement projects drawing on relevant project methodologies. Promote and market project methodologies to gain business buy in. Identify suitable opportunities for significant process efficiency gains. Manage project definition and the documentation of project charters. Progress and confirm project “toll gate” sign offs with relevant stakeholders. Co-ordinate project prioritization activities. Present prioritized projects to senior leaders. Continuously seek to identify SOPI clients and determine how SOPI can support their objectives. Collaborate and network effectively with all SOPI clients. Provide business process and system support to SOPI clients. Formulate and deliver process and system training where appropriate. Manage and cultivate a strong working relationship with relevant ITS business partners. Manage and cultivate a strong working relationship with external business partners (Genpact). Provide consultancy services to approved strategic business projects. Identify and engage in appropriate knowledge sharing or learning opportunities. Mentor and coach other team members and ensure the development of others. Support project portfolio management activities via the PMO. Ensure change control governance procedures are adhered to consistently.Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of professional accounting experience In-depth knowledge of end-to-end business processes and SAP essential Work effectively with computer systems and personal computer applications Proven knowledge of accounting principles and concepts. Strong project management skills and experience. Good commercial business knowledge, ideally KC experience or other blue chip FMCG company.Preferred Qualifications: Green or Black belt certified Knowledge and experience in the application of improvement methodologies is highly desirable.Other Qualifiations: Previous experience in a diverse professional team desirable. Strong MS Office skills will be essential. Demonstrable ability to handle multiple projects at a given time. Enthusiastic, resilient and able to manage stressful situations. Strong analytical skills. Business exposure to more than one country highly beneficial. Experienced at influencing peers and seniors managers.
