The Sales Analyst will provide analytic support by accumulating and analyzing data to generate reports utilized by the Directors of Sales, Customer Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager and Managing Director to facilitate business decisions. Primary responsibilities include developing, distributing and analyzing sales reports on a regular basis. The Sales Analyst will also be responsible for delivering updated reports pulled from syndicated and customer databases (for example IRI). Additional responsibilities include maintaining pricing and promotions in the Syspro database, generating and distributing price lists and fact sheets quarterly and seasonally, completing new customer and new product forms, maintaining customer contract files and functioning as a liaison between the Sales, Marketing, Production, Finance and other departments. Develop and distribute reports. Reports to include, but not limited to Category Sales, Top Customer, Seasonal Sales, Sales by Salesperson, Customer Data reports, Syndicated data update reports and ad hoc reports as needed. Specific knowledge of the Sales Department and database experience is needed to properly develop Access queries addressing the ad hoc requests and ongoing needs. Maintain pricing and promotional activity in the Syspro database. Maintain calendar of promotional agreements for key accounts. Collate pricing data to produce complete global price lists and fact sheets quarterly and seasonally. Produce and distribute business specific price lists. Support sales team requests for sales analysis of key customers, sales materials and critical sample requests. Assist in preparation of presentation materials needed for sales calls. New customer forms/new item forms: Complete paperwork necessary to establish new customer relationships with key accounts and to launch new products in to existing key accounts. Maintain customer contract files. Utilize analytical skills and assist in identifying business trends. Assist in the creation of sales and marketing presentations for executive level audience. Education: High School Diploma Experience: Strong proficiency with Access, Excel and PowerPoint. 1 - 3 years customer service, administrative or sales experience in an office environment.
