Sales Configuration Specialist - Temecula, CA

Our Sales Configuration Specialists are primarily responsible for providing product and technical sales assistance for complex and/or custom products. This includes providing product information and product quotations.  The position identifies the customer’s technical and functional needs to ensure needs are met and accurate quotes are produced. The ideal candidate will have experience performing the following duties: · Documenting product and system requirements from sales documents, Sales Engineers and customers. · Configuring and producing quotes for products and systems. · Providing configuration options and system specifications. · Maintaining the product quoting tool. · Ensuring configuration and system requirement accuracy on customer orders. · Researching and resolving issues arising from complex or custom system orders. · Establishing and ensuring that lead times and order requirements are met. · Maintaining a working knowledge of PlantCML products, e.g., software, computers, peripheral equipment, and new products and product releases. · Providing technical product information to external and internal customers, secondary level in-house technical support to customer. Only candidates with the following skills and qualifications will be considered: · Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience. · Proven track record, experience and knowledge in the following areas:o  Configuring and understanding complex telecommunications systems and applications. o  Interpreting network diagrams, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and ECNs. o  National communications networks and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) environments including points of demarcation is a plus. o  Local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). · Proficient in MS Office; specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; commanding professionalism at all times.  · Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects from various sources concurrently. · Strong problem solving and analytical skills. · Ability to professionally and tactfully interact with management, customers, and co-workers and use discretion and diplomacy  · Ability to work independently or in cross-functional and team environments. · Strong customer service orientation. · Ability to work the required hours of the position. Qualified candidates must apply directly to our web site at www.plantcml.com / Careers / Sales Configuration Specialist – Temecula, CA.
