The Company is an exciting and unique interactive firm specializing in designing and producing compelling interactive experiences for brands and nonprofit organizations.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to grow and make a considerable impact on the success of a small but growing NYC company.

 

 The Company is seeking an experienced interactive sales professional (you must be currently selling website, touch screen or mobile phone, interactive design and development engagements, not advertising), motivated by a base salary, benefits, and a generous results-based compensation program.  Looking for a full-time professional who can perform with minimal supervision while staying results-oriented, flexible and patient.  

Responsible for Finding and winning accounts /engagements which drive revenue and increase the project pipeline for internal resources to complete.  Focused on establishing relationships between the Company and brands through direct dealings with the end client (a marketing professional) as well as through channel partners e.g. advertising agencies, brand managers, media management firms, designers, etc.   Focus on new business opportunities generated through their relationships, networking, associations, RFPs, etc. Responsible marketing to target markets potentially interested in interactive services including the design and development of interactive websites, touch screen activities, and mobile experiences. Lead harvesting and sales force automation tools at your disposal include association directories, publications, Saleforce.com, direct mail house, etc. Conduct meetings, presentations and interviews with potential clients Write, coordinate and manage proposal submissions Develop and contribute written content to marketing materials Work closely with Principals, Senior Producers and other staff Networking with business influencers; utilizing personal contacts Leading the proposal process, closing sales, and transitioning to account



Requirements:

· Bachelors or Masters Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business

· 5+ years working in Sales at an interactive agency selling design and production services

· Strong written and verbal communications skills (writing samples required)

· Interest in and basic understanding of interactive technologies for web 2.0, mobile and touch screen systems.

· Organized, self-disciplined approach to work

· Ability to multi-task and work on a number of proposals and deadlines simultaneously

· Power user of the web, computers and technology in general a plus.
