The Sales Manager Career Opportunity

 

You will have two major objectives in this role.  The first is to work closely with the sales team to drive business into our account base through sound strategy and actions.  In addition, you will be responsible for meeting your personal targets.. You will identify, develop and present product and service solutions that best meet our clients’ strategic business needs.  Utilizing effective consultative sales and servicing strategies, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating new business opportunities for the development of long-term business partnerships by creating superior value for our clients. As a successful CMF Sales Manager, you will add to the growth of the business unit, and our company overall, by building value for our solutions and increasing revenues through renewable business relationships.

 

Key job responsibilities:

 Meeting personal sales goal working with Chemical, Material and Food clientsDriving business into your team’s account books through training and strategyRunning Real Time Coaching sessions on a weekly basis with teamDrive team to where at least 80% of your sales team is always on target.Perform weekly 30/60/90 pipeline reviews with team and brief the Vice President of CMF with weekly statusMonitor, and brief the status of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-end sales performance Sales Team book managementAttending and participating in all Corporate Sales TrainingPerform monthly one on one’s with teamPerform Quarterly and Annual Performance evaluationsWork with counterparts in other Frost & Sullivan offices to achieve global integration of products and servicesWork closely with all groups (research, sales, marketing)Responsible for target attainment in groupOrganize meetings and ensure attendance and participation of sales team members in Subscription Update and Individual Research Group Strategy meetingsAttending and participating in Global Account Strategy Meetings and brief the Vice President of CMF

 

 

Successful candidates will possess:

 Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in consultative sales and  business development, at least 3 in managementBachelor’s degreeCMF Industry knowledge a plusEffective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, non-structured environment Outstanding written and oral communication skills – able to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environment and in all mediums. Strong knowledge of PC software programs, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and E-mail programs (Lotus Notes preferred)Ability to contribute positively in a team-oriented settingAn energetic, career-minded attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level
