SBM Site Services is a facilities support organization providing janitorial, cleanroom and laboratory sanitizing, general building maintenance, recycling and environmental awareness programs, in-facilities move and move planning programs, vendor management and related ancillary services to customers both in the United States and internationally.
We have 25 years of experience with regional offices located nationally and 4,000 employees serving corporate campuses and headquarters, pharmaceutical research, manufacturing and administrative facilities, high-tech, medical, consumer products, and, managed facilities - single and multi-tenant occupants, warehouse and distribution centers, as well as educational institutions, with a customer base that includes many Fortune 500 companies.
We are currently searching for a professional and dynamic Sales Manager to service the Chicago, IL area.
Summary: Responsible for the direct sales and achievement of set sales quota of SBM services within a specific geographic area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
•Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads; based on information follows through on these leads.
•Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers in effort to grow business.
•Responds efficiently to RFP’s while working in conjunction with the Proposal Manager.
•Generates bids while working in conjunction with the Operations Regional Management.
•Initiates the timely start of the follow-through and transition process with corporate partners.
•Prepares reports of business, including sales reports and bid tracking reports for bids lost and pending as well as pipeline new business reports.
•Works with and develops productive business relationships with corporate partners, including but not limited to FM Corporations, Public Institutions and related Industry Leaders.
Requirements
Must be willing to travel, have specific experience and strong contacts with large campus style facilities and fortune 500 companies. Must have at least five years Sales Management experience. Experience in facilities management and/or operations a must. Adept in all applications of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Web based systems, excel, word and outlook. Must be highly organized, a self starter, able to present and close a sale to a large group of professionals and ready to hit to ground running.
