Sales Rep, Outside -- Building Materials

s COMPANY:  This major building materials wholesale distribution company has 30 locations in 10 mid-southern and mid-western states and is expanding rapidly.  They sell and deliver building materials and supplies to builders and building contractors in the residential and commercial construction industries.  The company has a facility in Tulsa, OK, and they are needing to add an Outside Sales Representative to their staff at that location.  Due to the size of this company ($200M/yr.) and the way it is expanding so rapidly, this is an usually good career opportunity and offers above-average opportunities for high earnings and advancement. DUTIES:  This Outside Sales Representative will take over a very well-established territory covering Tulsa and vicinity.  This territory already has established customers in the construction industry that will be a good base to build on.  The primary responsibility will be to sell building materials to builders and building contractors for use in their residential construction work.  It will probably not require much, if any, overnight travel.  EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:This person needs 2+ years of some type of building products (i.e., siding, roofing, lumber, etc.) sales experience -- either inside or outside, and also needs experience working with building contractors in the building materials industry (sales or non-sales).  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
