RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct molecular microbiology and animal studies for developing biotechnology-derived new generation vaccines Perform molecular cloning and PCR testing. Perform cell cultures, plaque purification, virus titration, serum neutralization, IFA, ELISA and Western blots. Maintain laboratory notebooks and records. Organize and report experimental data. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: BS Degree within the field of microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology or a related scientific discipline. 2 years Experience in a scientific environment. Hands-on experience in cell culture, molecular cloning and PCR testing. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree within the field of microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology or a related scientific discipline preferred. Good knowledge in recombinant DNA technology, recombinant protein expression and vector vaccine development. Good oral and written communication skills.
