RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform laboratory studies such as cell culture, bacteria and parasite cultures Perform serological assays. Perform animal work (such as vaccination, challenge, and necropsy). Enter data into spreadsheets and prepare preliminary evaluation. Maintain laboratory notebooks and study records. Organize and report experimental data. Organize laboratory and animal work schedules Engaged with training new employees BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a BS + 4 or MS + 2. Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry or related science field is required. Extensive hands-on experience in animal studies and laboratory techniques. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Develops solutions to problems of limited scope using established methods. Proactively searches for solutions to problems through collaboration. Excellent technical writing skills. Plans, conducts, and interprets work on more complex projects with clearly defined objectives. This position requires a commitment to Good Laboratory Practices documentation, and strict adherence to written procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
