Security Officer

Security Officer Department: Security Schedule: Full-time Shift: 2nd shift Hours: Job Details: - High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience is preferred


 

This position is located at the ER Security Desk-other areas may be assigned as needed by department. Experience strongly preferred: Under direction from the Security Officer in Charge and within CSM policies and procedures and the CSM security Mgmt and Facility Safety Plans, provides a secure and safe environment at all CSM campuses for CSM patients, employees and visitors.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Graduation from or current enrollment in security, police or fire science technical school courses preferred. 1 + year of continuous security experience with frequent public contact required. Healthcare security experience preferred. Basic PC skills and good oral and communication skills required. IAHSS Security Officer or Supervisor certification preferred. Current State of Wisconsin First Responder or EMT basic license preferred.
