This position is responsibile for providing administrative, communication, and analytical support to our Deepwater group. Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:• Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment, and being prepared to respond to an environmental or safety event• Prepare accurate and timely reports, presentations, and other working documents• Coordinate document management and support efforts to ensure an effective records management• Coordinate international and domestic travel arrangements, itineraries, and preparations for site visitors• Schedule and organize onsite and offsite meetings and events• Maintain departmental calendars, filing systems, and distribution lists• Manage P-Card purchases and reconcile statements• Assure all work performed adheres to Chevrons Operational Excellence standards and regulatory requirements• Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications: • Three years relevant administrative assistant experience• High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, as well as pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection processPreferred Qualifications:• Five plus years relevant administrative assistant experience• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business or similar discipline• Ability to manage project documentation • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Access, Visio), SAP, and an aptitude for learning new software packages• Ability to use discretion and judgment in the handling of confidential and sensitive business information• Proven ability to prioritize work, using project management tools as a guide, and simultaneously perform multiple tasks with limited supervision• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers• Ability to manage time effectively, and work with minimal supervisionRelocation Options:• Relocation assistance will not be considered for this positionInternational Consideration:• Expatriate assignments will not be considered for this position Learn more about Chevron Location:US-TX-Houston Status:Full Time, Employee Job Category:Administrative/Clerical
