Currently we have an opening in our Strategic Planning group in our Century City headquarters.

Responsibilities:

1.       Preparation of business plans for key markets and new county openings

 

2.       Evaluation of various financial alternatives including execution of mergers and acquisitions

 

3.       Retrieval, management, analysis and presentation of data from various information systems.

 

4.       Assisting with long-term financial planning and forecasting

 

5.       Completion of ad hoc research assignments for executive management

 

6.       Review of Strategic Planning project presentations.

 

7.       Supporting VP & Director of Strategic Planning on various project duties and initiatives.

 

8.    Monitoring and gathering competitor and peer intelligence.

 

Requirements:

 

•        Bachelors degree in economics, finance, business, accounting or statistics from a top-tier university or liberal arts college.

•        Minimum of two-year post-undergraduate experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance or strategic planning.

•        Experience in developing robust and dynamic financial models

•        Thorough understanding of financial statements

•        Ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization including executive management.

•        Ability to independently organize workload prioritizes responsibilities, meet deadlines for deliverables and multi task on several projects individually as well as in team-work settings.

•        Ability to solve complex problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision

•        Understanding of fundamental business valuation methodologies

•        Experience in handling and analyzing large and complex datasets

•        Expert user of MS Excel required and Access preferred.

•        Experience in Capital IQ and/or Bloomberg strongly desired.

•        Experience in SQL and/or SAS a plus.

•        Willingness for occasional travel.
