Job Summary Serve as counsel to Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, a leader in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of a broad range of consumer healthcare products (e.g., Advil®, Centrum®, Caltrate®, ChapStick®, Robitussin®, Dimetapp®, etc.) operating in over 65 countries, with 2006 sales of $2.5 billion. Work closely with Senior Vice President & Chief Counsel as part of a small-dedicated legal team servicing the global consumer healthcare business. Job Responsibilities *Manage a diverse range of important legal issues while providing legal counsel and analysis to help accomplish business objectives; and, *Draft, negotiate, review and approve a wide variety of operational agreements such as services/consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, development agreements, product supply agreements, software/data license agreements, advertising agency/media buying agreements, broker/agent agreements, retailer agreements, HMO/PBM coupon distribution agreements and other miscellaneous agreements to support Wyeth Consumer Healthcare’s day to day business needs. Basic Qualifications *JD and admitted to any state bar; *5+ years’ general corporate transactional experience; *Excellent verbal and written communication skills; *Experience in advising senior management; *Ability to handle diverse workload; *Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills; and, *Academic excellence. Writing sample and references will be required. Relocation is not available for this position.
