Senior EDI Analyst

Job Description:For this contract-to-hire position, you will support the day-to-day processes and applications required for this 3rd party benefits administration firm to exchange data with external trading partners.Your responsibilities will include: Guiding projects to completion Establishing schedules and coordinating tasks Deploying ecommerce Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining EDI standards Creating and maintaining implementation guides to document detailed exchange requirements Performing the set-up of new trading partners Developing and maintaining effective relationships with external trading partners Acting as a focal point for transactional data exchanges Troubleshooting transactional data exchanges with internal departments and external trading partners Building and maintaining maps to transform data into various structures Assisting with driving the technical direction of a mission critical ecommerce product Identifying system problems and recommending solutions Assisting with upgrading and testing the ecommerce system Maintaining and protecting company assets and propertyJob Experience: 5+ years related work experience Experience mapping external business documents with internal data structures Experience with EDI translators Experience resolving transmission and data structure issues with trading partners Knowledge of various EDI ANSI transaction layouts Knowledge of ecommerce and transaction processing systems Knowledge of Microsoft Office products Understanding of data communications, client/server architecture, and Internet related technologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Solid communication and collaboration skills Bachelors degree in a related field Knowledge of XML is a plus Familiarity with Healthcare transaction sets, including Claims (837), Enrollment (834), and Premium payments (820), is a plusMinimum Education Required: AssociateYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
