Senior Functional Tester

If you do, then check out this opportunity!OVERVIEW: For this position, you will join a team that is working on ongoing health care product enhancement testing and validation.Your responsibilities will include: Analyzing requirements and external specifications Determining feasibility for testing Identifying gaps in requirements Analyzing and reviewing test data requirements Establishing processes to create test data Creating and ensuring proper execution of test specifications, test cases, and test scripts Creating and managing defects arising out of testing activities Preparing documentation to help triage and replicate defects Ensuring tests are executed and analyzed properly Creating and running manual and automated test cases Assisting with the creation of Test Strategy and Test Execution plansJob Experience: 2+ years related work experience Experience in mainframe environments Experience with Mainframe TSO/ISPF Functional Test/QA experience Experience with DB2 database Experience with PL/SQL Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Understanding of QA theory and practice, system architecture, databases, and EDI Knowledge of JCL, SAR, JobTrac, and File Aid (MVS and DB2) Ability to read Cobol II code Ability to create test plans and test cases Knowledge of CICS Online Region Excellent organizational skills Solid communication and collaboration skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science Experience in the Healthcare industry/domain is a plus Experience with Automation Tools, Win Runner, and QTP is a plus Familiarity with Kaiser applications is a plusMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: 3-5 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
