Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Senior Manufacturing Technician - 24393 Job Description:The Senior Manufacturing Technician will, under limited direction and limited supervision, conduct medical device testing/documentation, and participate as a team member generating/maintaining complete documentation necessary for assigned project tasks.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and document complex processes and experiments (prototypes and product testing). Should be able to perform all technical and non-technical aspects of non-sales work orders needed for experiments. Evaluate process for improvements. Help establish engineering specifications and quality standards. Write protocols for and perform complex tests, summarizing data, making recommendations and implementing changes with approval. Perform prototype assembly and development tasks as required. Fabricate moderately complex prototypes/process tools, and develop/build fixtures with minimal supervision. Apply drafting standards. Train and document assembly operators in new or existing processes. Working knowledge of the document control system. Able to process simple change requests. Work with external vendors for supplies, materials and tools for specific projects. Lead training of all levels of assemblers, leads, technicians, and new engineers in procedures and common practices.Position Qualifications:AA Degree in Technical field or equivalent job experiences. Minimum 5+ years experience as a technician or equivalent in appropriate education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform at this level.Skills Required: Knowledge of GMP, QC, component tracking and engineering change notice systems. Some fabrication and prototyping ability. Working knowledge of trigonometry, algebra, and statistics. Able to determine appropriate report formats and complete without assistance. Independently develop reports and scientific data. Computer skills including Excel, Word, Scheduling, email, and CAD. Understand drafting standards. Understand unit conversion.
