Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:* Support of Windows server environment running Active Directory 2003 and running Windows Server 2000/2003* End User support and 3rd level troubleshooting of permissions, resource availability, authentication, printing, remote access, logon scripts and anything affecting end user functionality* Support of the Windows operating system and hardware support for over 1,500 Windows servers locally installed, servers in other data centers and servers in remote offices.* Support for application and utility software rollouts to all servers and maintenance of server utility infrastructures* Managing the upgrade of servers, software, and maintaining backup and recovery procedures* Monitoring servers for hardware issues, diagnosis of hardware issues and coordination of repairs with a centralized help desk* Troubleshooting of OS issues.* Requirement for overlapping shift work Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 7 PM, and possibly Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM* On Call availability 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to address major hardware problems and operating system problems You can view all of our jobs online at http://www.ajilonconsulting.com



Job Experience:Business Skills: * Five or more years experience supporting Windows Domain based and Active Directory environments* Five or more years experience maintaining a Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 server environment* Five or more years to supervisory experience in information technology infrastructure support* Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000 and Windows server 2003 troubleshooting, maintenance and best practices* Experience with server security, upgrades and deployment of security and operating system patches* Experience with Citrix and VMWare* Experience with ECM, HP SIM, RDP or other enterprise support tools Education/Licenses/Certifications: * Current certifications in Windows, VMWare, Citrix or similar technologies is a plus.Years of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: NoneThis company may offer relocation assistance.
