Senior Process Excellence Manager - Sales

Primary customer industries include Refining and Petrochemicals, Upstream Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals, and Power and Utilities.IPS is currently seeking a Sr. Process Excellence Manager in the North America Sales organization. This individual must be a Black Belt in Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma, and must have recent experience applying these methodologies within a sales organization.Job DescriptionActs as a subject matter expert to analyze, plan and implement process improvement (such as Six Sigma initiative) needs. Evaluates and models existing processes. Consults, organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional initiatives including: mapping business processes, gathering and analyzing process data to identify root cause problems, identifying areas of process improvements, and use of process techniques to develop solutions to improve and enable measurable results in process efficiency, customer satisfaction, product quality, and financial savings. Produces new process improvement techniques and services. Develops metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities and prepares teams with the tools, training, etc. to help determine which are ‘best fit’ solutions. Measures performance against strategic objectives and process requirements, aligns improvement projects to close performance shortfalls. Supports pilot projects and internal case studies for trial usage improvement methods or approaches. Maintains a knowledge center that contains documents, tools, and guidebooks to be available on the topic of business process change and creating customer value. Ensures best practices are maintained and not recreated. Performs cost and benefit analyses. Delivers presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control courses. Identifies and manages resources, including cross-functional members, to successfully execute projects. Develops process improvement policies and infrastructure. Recommendations may consist of training and/or consulting solutions. Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree in related discipline. Post-graduate coursework may be desirable.Experience RequirementsTypically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience data analysis, statistical analysis, financial analysis, maintenance practices, negotiation and business operations. Requires experience in Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, Process Improvement, Project Management, Business Analysis, Quality programs or other business improvement initiatives within a sales organization.
