Senior Project and Project Managers

Allen Industries, Inc., national sign & awning manufacturing company is looking for experienced Senior Project Managers & Project Managers for its growing Clearwater, FL facility. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERS POSITIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: -Work with upper management team to determine necessary resources to staff and manage existing and new accounts -Work with Sales to determine customer's needs and expectations -Visit customers as required to analyze new and existing accounts -Analyze the account(s) to ensure that works flows and processes are successful -Implement action plans to improve on current processes or policies -Supervise all aspects of the project management team to include writing performance reviews, recommending salary increases, counseling employees, and conducting terminations -Interview prospective employees and make recommendations for new hires -Resolve any issues that develop with the customer or with specific job sites with the project management team -Facilitate meetings with department heads to improve work flow and processes -Provide account revenue projections to upper management -Special projects as assigned by upper management ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: -AA/AS or BA/BA degree -Management or supervisory experience -Sign industry experience -Ability to think analytically and problem solve -Advanced computer proficiency -Ability to understand margins and gross profits -Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced changing environment -Strong interpersonal and communication skills NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: -Project Management Certification REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Administrative Assistants, Permit Administrators PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical and work environment characteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job. Qualified candidates must submit resume`/salary requirements to judy.johnson@allenindustries.com or fax: 727-572-4815 PROJECT MANAGER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: -Work with management team to establish necessary resources to staff and manage accounts -Work with account representative to establish customer needs and expectations -Visit customers as required by the account -Analyze the project to determine the type of project; new install, maintenance or remodel -Enter and maintain the project in E-synergy -Ensure that codes are checked and determine survey requirement if needed -Request site specific drawings from the Art Department and submit to customer for approval -Request estimate from the Estimating Department and submit to customer for approval -Receive signed proposal/contract from the customer -Negotiate installation price with sub contractor to ensure profitability on the he project -Submit finalized and approved sign package into Production for manufacturing Determine installation dates with subcontractor and customer -Resolve any problems that may occur on the installation -Approve incoming invoices from vendors and subcontractors and submit for payment -Review the pro forma for accuracy and submit invoice to customer -Assist accounting on any unresolved A/R issues -Evaluate and rate the subcontractor on the project -Run and interpret projected billing reports regularly Analyze the account to ensure all issues are reviewed Implement action plans for issue resolutions -Supervise the daily workflow of Assistant Project Managers and Permit Administrators ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: -Ability to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment -Ability to multi-task and handle numerous project simultaneously -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Ability to make decisions about a project independently -computer proficiency including Microsoft office -Organized and detail oriented NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: -Project management experience -AA/AS or BS/BAaccomodations in relevant field -Sign industry experience -Advance computer proficiency REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Assistant Project Managers, Permit Administrators PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical and work environment characteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
