Final compensation will be dependent on the successful candidate’s background and experience level. The Company: Our client is a leading-edge merchandising organization.  The Mandate: This exciting opportunity is located in the Southern California region – generally home-office based as the emphasis on location is “in the market” and “with the customer”. Reporting to the Vice President of Point of Purchase (POP) and Front End Merchandising (FEM) Sales, the Senior Sales Executive is responsible for developing selling opportunities and closing sales on business related to The Company’s products, services and capabilities primarily in the West Region of the USA.  The successful candidate will need to: · Meet or exceed company sales objectives and develop a profitable sales/business base · Secure all pertinent purchase orders and contracts necessary to consummate a sale and deliver products or services· Provide thorough, concise and complete background information on all client assignments· Manage client programs and projects with an objective to surpass client expectations and requirements· Provide input regarding market, business, client, company and/or personal needs in order to assist the company in maintaining its leadership position· Develop and qualify customer requirements on current and new projects· Prepare special reports as requested by client and standard company reports· Maintain ongoing contact with clients and potential clients · Attend industry trade shows and training sessions· Maintain appropriate account records as required by sales management and submit reports regarding conditions and progress achieved in the account· Establish, monitor and communicate pre-sale efforts, including budgets, presentation materials, artwork, design, production, etc.· Maintain an awareness of all competitive activities including product performance, pricing, availability and related information  Ideal Candidate:· Bachelor’s degree highly preferred · 7 years of progressively responsible related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience· Ability to identify and maintain knowledge of key contacts within the account and establish multi-level relationships · Competitive sales-hunter striving for new business achievements· Maintains and expands personal knowledge base through periodicals, trade publications and business seminars  To apply for this position: All submissions are confidential.
