Senior Security Analyst

We have a client in Wilmington in need of a Senior Security Analyst who will research, evaluate, test recommend, architect, and implement new security products and releases.  This individual will provide gap analysis between security practices, processes and solutions and recommend solutions to the IT Security Manager.  You will perform security assessments on new company aquisitions, new vendors for the company, perform forensic analysis during security incidents, manage assigned ticjets efficiently, and train and assist security administrators when necessary.Required for this position: Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix Operating Systems. Knowledge of Database and Web Security (MS SQL, Oracle, IIS, Apache) Knowledge of Access Management (Active Directory, NIS+) Strong Scripting Skills (Windows and Unix batch files, Perl, VBScript) Knowledge of firewalls and Routers (Cisco Pix, Checkpoint) Strong PC experience with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project and Access Willingness for on call 24X7 support.Plusses to Have: Symantec ESM, ISS RealSecure, e-EYE REM Console, and Retina Vulerability Scanner Preferred Certifications- CISSO, MCSE, Certified Solaris Admin, SANS GIAC CertifiedIf you are interested and full qualified for this FULL TIME role please send you resume to me at Erin.Parks@Modisit.com Company: Modis, Inc.
