You will receive a salary of $60,960 - $93,360 for this full-time, direct hire position.
Job Description: The Senior Systems Analyst / Developer works as a member of an applications development and support team, providing technology services to customers. The Sr. Systems Analyst/Developer provides web application development using the Microsoft .NET framework and programming in ASP.NET and C#. This position will need to be knowledgeable on Internet and Intranet web design and database programming in a secure environment. They will work with customers to identify and define business needs, develop and document business requirements, research available solutions to meet business needs, provide installation support and training for customers as required, perform maintenance to existing custom developed and purchased application systems. The Sr. Systems Analyst/Developer is distinguished by providing technical and team leadership. The Senior Systems Analyst/Developer interacts with all levels of staff, vendors, and customers, to develop and implement technology programs and/or projects. This is done in person, by telephone, or through electronic and written communication. This position will need to work closely with Project Management, Business Analysts, DBA, QA, Infrastructure and Operations teams.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and four years of progressive technical experience including web application design, development, maintenance and support OR Seven years of progressive technical experience as described.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
The Senior Systems Analyst/Developer will have demonstrated successful skills and abilities in: Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 .NET web applications development. Proficient in C# or VB.NET. ADO.NET application development in MS SQL server Designing, writing and deploying .NET applications that use Web Services & SOAP Developing and maintaining application software development standards AJAX and RAD AJAX controls Java Scripting Leading in a team environment and/or participating on a team. Providing successful internal customer service skills. Solving problems using a consultative approach. Managing time and projects. Logical database design for application development using database management systems Experience with MS SQL DBMS and use of stored procedures and triggers. Experience with secure coding practices related to web development. Knowledge of web content management systems and portals (TeamSite and SharePoint) Demonstrated skill in communicating, both verbally and in writing to individuals with various levels of knowledge and understanding; and to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Demonstrated ability to comply with, understand, apply and explain provisions of laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing agency or program operations.
