Service Supervisor (Pumps)

ITT Flygt Corporation is the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of submersible pumping & mixing solutions.  Flygt submersible pumps are used in mines, construction sites, wastewater plants, sewage systems and numerous other industries. 

 

We are currently seeking a Service Supervisor to perform diversified duties to provide day-to-day supervision and training to service personnel in accordance with established company policies and procedures.  Individual will also perform a full range of repairs and/or service to the entire product line and accessories either on-site or in-house while assuring timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork.  Other duties include, but are not limited to:

·  verifying inventory received;

·  maintaining a neat, organized shop;

·  interfacing with reps, distributors, and end-users;

·  determining proper rental pump for customer application;

·  coordinate environmental, safety and health matters; and

·  other miscellaneous duties related to a busy shop.

 

Qualified individuals must have strong mechanical aptitude in troubleshooting and assembly.  In addition candidates must have knowledge of electrical systems and be able to read wiring schematics and troubleshoot control panels on the component level.  Must be hands on and savvy with tools.  Light industrial construction experience a plus.  Moderate physical demand and exposure to shop and occasional field elements.  Individual must have outstanding customer relations skills, and previous supervisory experience.  Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.  Position requires High School diploma or equivalent plus additional education or specialized training or equivalent experience.
