Service Technician - Pumps

ITT Flygt Corporation is the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of submersible pumping & mixing solutions.  Flygt submersible pumps are used in mines, construction sites, wastewater plants, sewage systems and numerous other industries. 

 

We are currently seeking a service individual to perform an interesting variety of mechanical and electrical (120 to 460 volts) duties ranging from the wiring, converting and basic testing to the repair and troubleshooting of pumps and parts primarily in the shop.  This position may require on-site field servicing. 

 

Qualified individuals must have strong mechanical aptitude in troubleshooting and assembly.  In addition candidates must have knowledge of electrical systems and be able to read wiring schematics and troubleshoot control panels on the component level.  Must be hands on and savvy with tools.  Light industrial construction experience a plus.  Moderate physical demand and exposure to shop and occasional field elements.  Individual must be a team player.  Valid drivers license with good driving record.  Timely processing of all service paperwork.  Position requires High School diploma or equivalent plus additional education or specialized training or equivalent experience.
