Service Technicians, Field Technicians

Service Station Systems specializes in installation, start-up, construction and maintenance of service station fueling equipment and facilities and, with our sister company, Able Maintenance, we have formed the true “one call does it all” organization. Our 35 years of practical, on-the-job experience and our focus on integrity and customer service has helped make us what we are today.

 

 

WE HAVE SEVERAL IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

 

Field Service Technician - San Jose

 

The ideal candidate for this position would have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in one or more of the following areas:

 

- Basic knowledge of petroleum, mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment

- Maintaining and repairing petroleum dispensing equipment (e.g., vapor recovery systems, air line/pressure testing)

- Basic plumbing experience

- Basic electrical (AC/DC)

- General construction experience

- General maintenance experience

- Field service experience

- Ability to learn on-the-job

 

In addition, all technicians must have the ability to:

- follow all company safety policies and procedures

- perform physical labor on a daily basis in various weather conditions

- work overtime, weekends, eves or holidays as needed

- interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level

- work independently

 

The current shift(s) available are:

4/10 shift (4 days per week, 10 hours per day), 4:00pm to 2:30am, Weds-Sat or Sun-Weds

We are also accepting applications for the following shifts however the above shift will be filled first.

5/8 shift (5 days per week, 8 hours per day), 7:30am to 4:00pm, Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat

5/8 shift (5 days per week, 8 hours per day), 7:30am to 4:00pm, Mon-Fri

(Shifts may vary during training)

 

Once general training is completed, a company service vehicle is provided. A current California driver's license and an insurable driving record is required. All serious candidates must participate in a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background screen.
