Job Description:Job Description: We are seeking a Lead Programmer/Configuration Analyst - SIEBEL in Syracuse who will be responsible for the day-to-day development, enhancement, and support of the Sales Force Automation (SFA) application. Under general direction of the Project Lead, analyzes, documents, develops, tests, implements as well as supports Siebel 7.x new efforts and enhancements.Responsibilities Include:* Assessment of functional business requirements, provides alternative solutions, creates functional and technical specifications.* Actively participate, "hands on", in the development, testing and implementation process.* Data modeling and design based on business requirements.* Design and develop customize Business Components using Siebel Tools.* Creates/Modifies Screens, Views and Applets, MVG, Pick Lists.* The creation/maintenance of PDQ's and LOV's* Development of Siebel Reports through Actuate development workbench.* EIM Mappings using Siebel Tools.* Experienced with schema changes for both base tables and EIM tables.* Design Workflow and Assignment manager to streamline the flow of work according to the policies and procedures.* Unit Test Plans and User testing.* Preparation of user documentation.* Siebel & Lotus Notes integration.* Server maintenance, which includes creating position and responsibilities running server task, repository migration and backups.* Production support, (desktop support, learning and development, etc) You can view all of our jobs online at http://www.ajilonconsulting.com



Job Experience:Business Skills: * 3+ years in a Siebel development role within a SUN Solaris environment.* Experience with SUN Solaris and Iplanet a must.* Experience in Microsoft & UNIX eccentric environments, UNIX Scripting, Actuate Report Writing, JAVA, XML and SQL.* Expertise in CRM industry working on SIEBEL 7.0, SIEBEL Finance, and Sales Force Automation.* Other required skills include knowledge of distributed architectures, Expertise of Siebel Tools and Server Processes (AKA: EAI, EIM, workflow,etc-)* Experienced with Siebel 7.x,, Siebels data model, Java, and Actuate Report writer.* Experienced with Siebel's Analytics.* Technical proficiency of PC platforms (Windows NT/95/98/2000/XP, SUN Solaris, Microsoft Office Suite).* Unix Scripting.* Familiarity with IMS/CICS/DB2 and COBOL. A plus.* Knowledgeable of distributed architectures using CORBA, WebLogic, MQ.* Familiarity with Networking (TCP/IP, VPN, HTTPS).* Technology Languages (C, VB,) Databases( DB2 UDB V7.0, MS SQL Server, Informatics) and Siebel's -Remote Learning,Web Casting.* Relational database design skills and/or working knowledge of SQL and DB2.* Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.* Sound analytical and problem solving skills.* Strong interpersonal and organization skills.Minimum Education Required: Bachelor
