Site Manager Opportunity!

Function Summary: To provide on-site management, staffing, training, parts and supply inventory, expense control, public relations and support of the IdleAire system. To provide on-site support and service to the professional truck driver.

Essential Functions: Responsible for the overall management of an IdleAire site. To maintain a qualified staff of trained Site Representatives. To manage all site expenses within established budgets. To manage IdleAire site assets within established standards. To keep the Travel Center management and associates informed about the IdleAire products and services. To ensure all IdleAire Team Members are trained on all IdleAire products and services. To support and service IdleAire services to truck drivers and instruction on the usage of the system and all products. To assist with the initial installation of IdleAire templates into the tractor window. To provide courteous and expeditious customer service support to truck drivers. To maintain a good working relationship with all travel center personnel. To report all site issues to the corporate call center in a timely fashion. To order, inventory and remain accountable for on-site literature, products and services. To assist with system troubleshooting and repair of IdleAire products and services. To promote the sale of IdleAire products and services to the truck driver.

Secondary Functions: To provide the District Manager with daily performance reports regarding all site related issues. To assist with other duties as assigned by the District Manager.

Working Conditions: This position requires the individual to work outdoors in all kinds of weather. The position requires working days, evenings nights and weekends. The position requires an individual to lift 40 lbs. above their head while standing on the running board of a tractor.

Qualifications: The individual must have a valid driver's license. The individual must have reliable transportation. The individual must be dependable, punctual and organized. The individual must be able to communicate with good verbal and written skills. The individual must have proven leadership skills. The individual must be able to work with minimal supervision and must be able to work with a culturally diverse group of people.

Experience: Prior experience in the trucking industry a plus. A background in sales or maintenance would be helpful. The individual must have the ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm. Experience with the use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft products (Word and Excel) a plus. Must have previous supervisory and management experience. The individual needs to have a good understanding of the use of computers.

Education: High School diploma or GED required. Some college a plus.
