Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for the overall contract operations of a large Government Facility charged with the processing of immigrant petitions and applications. The Site Manager organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all contract support activities for the Facility and ensures the flow of operations between all Contractor-staffed positions. The Site Manager provides daily feedback on workflow and future projections to the senior Government personnel at the Facility as well as the Contractor Program Management Office (PMO) in Washington, DC.
Specific Duties:
• Demonstrate excellent communications skills with all levels of management, including senior Government and Contractor PMO personnel
• Implement the Management Plan and Corporate Quality Control policies to effectively direct contract support activities to ensure satisfactory conformance with contract provisions and performance metrics
• Assign, schedule, and review work of managerial and supervisory staff
• Interpret both Government and Contractor policies, procedures, and goals for subordinates
• Monitor contractual expenditures and ensures that budgets are not exceeded
• Develop and maintain succinct reporting methodology to ensure senior Government and Contractor PMO personnel are informed of contractual performance
• Capable of negotiating and making binding decisions
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years related work experience are required.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks for continued employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to successfully complete a Government Agency Background Investigation/Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% or less.
• Demonstrated experience managing an operation of 250+ employees in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews, and documents for internal and external use
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preferred:
• Advanced degree
• Prior experience and/or certifications with relevant management and quality disciplines, including as Six Sigma, ISO, etc.
• Prior experience in application and benefits processing environments, such as insurance, financial, and/or other high volume mail handling functions
• Prior experience managing a seasonal/temporary work force
