Provides customer service to lottery, venue management and patrons. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Comprehensive understanding of rules and regulations within assigned jurisdiction Comprehensive knowledge of venue specific policies within the assigned jurisdiction. Thorough understanding of company procedures necessary to service and maintain installed Video Gaming devices. General understanding of video gaming industry terminology to include: o Game play reels, elements, bonus features o Audit functions play history, BA acceptance, OS logs, protocol logs o Venue specific player’s club features and all promotional activity Performs installations, de-installations and relocations of video gaming devices. Troubleshoots video gaming equipment to determine cause of failure and perform necessary resolution, escalate when necessary. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or repairing the malfunctioning component. Communicates effectively and efficiently with floor attendants. Assists in the resolution of player disputes. Using technical manuals in the repair/maintenance of Video Gaming devices. Maintains a log of service calls using designated service databases. Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance to include base and chair repair. Ensure that all terminals are aesthetically correct. Maintains designated technician area. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Loads/unloads trucks. Assists with routine changes when new games are introduced (replace glass, load software, retrofit button decks, install or remove topper signage, use central system interface to assign games). Usually done during off hours (2:15 AM 10:00 AM) Maintains log of service calls using designated service databases. Understands assigned jurisdiction memory clear policy and ability to perform memory clears as needed. Other skills Candidate must have strong mechanical reasoning skills and the ability to work independently.
